Job Title: Senior Electrical VSD Engineer (Maintenance)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8 Hours per day

Location to Perform the Work: Full Time Onshore + Occasional offshore trips upon

SCOPE OF WORK
Impactful Work: Take ownership of advanced condition and reliability monitoring for
critical offshore equipment, playing a key role in maximizing equipment uptime and
supporting safe, uninterrupted production
Technical Leadership: Lead maintenance, troubleshooting & rectification and
technical modifications in close collaborating with multidisciplinary teams onshore &
offshore as well as OEMs.
Innovation: Drive digitalization by implementing remote monitoring and conditional
maintenance solutions.
Project Variety: Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects-from conceptual
studies and design to commissioning and start-up.
Professional Growth: Work closely with experts across the organization, contribute to
global technical guidelines, and participate in major upgrade campaigns.
International Exposure: Operate in a multicultural environment, with opportunities for
both onshore and offshore assignments.
Field Expertise: Go offshore to supervise and execute level 4+5 maintenance
activities within your scope, and participate in maintenance duty rotations as needed,
ensuring operational excellence and hands-on technical leadership.
BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Education: Electrical Engineer (Bachelor of Science or above)
Experience: Minimum 10 years in a similar position, with strong exposure to offshore
electrical systems and proven frequency drive / Variable Speed Drive (VSD)
technology experience
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with IEC standards and company rules; advanced
troubleshooting of electrical equipment (surface and downhole); experience with
VSDs, transformers, UPS, switchboards, and digital monitoring systems
Behavioural Competencies: Eager to learn, curious, proactive, and rigorous.
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Other Requirements: Fluent in English; able to work in an international,
onshore/offshore environment
