Onboarding Officer
Location: Courbevoie, FranceContract Type: 6 Month Renewable Contract (Residential)
Target Start Date: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding Management: Carry out and coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of contracts (Origination, Balancing Mechanism, GOOS monitoring, etc.), ensuring data collection, document completeness, configuration of tools, and liaison with counterparties and grid operators.
- Capacity Mechanism Certification: Prepare, monitor and secure Capacity Mechanism certification applications, coordinate stakeholders (internal and external), meet application-window deadlines, update systems and contribute to regulatory compliance.
- Documentation & Procedures: Update, structure and create operational procedures, tool guides and reference documents relating to onboarding (Origination, Balancing Mechanism, Capacity Mechanism, CPPA and internal tools). Contribute to the communication and explanation of these documents.
- Continuous Improvement & Process Quality: Identify risks, friction points and optimisation needs within onboarding processes. Improve monitoring tools, strengthen data quality and propose mitigation measures and operational efficiency improvements.
- Internal & External Coordination: Manage communication and alignment with internal teams and external partners and contribute to clear reporting on progress and sensitive cases.
- Support: Provide operational support to team members, including access, understanding of topics and prioritisation.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in the electricity market, ideally within renewable energy or flexible power.
- Expert knowledge of Guarantees of Origin (GOs).
- Strong back-office and operational experience within the energy sector.
- Experience in Asset Portfolio Management.
- Experience with contract setup and implementation.
- Previous experience working with an electricity aggregator or a similar market participant.
- Strong knowledge of PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements).
- Good understanding of BRP / Balance Responsible Party processes.
- Expert knowledge of the French Capacity Mechanism.
- Expert understanding of the Balancing Mechanism.
- Experience supporting or managing renewable energy assets.
- Strong Contract Administration experience.
- Experience with deal implementation and operational onboarding.
- Strong operational reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong general operations experience within power or energy markets.
