Working Location: Guildford (Site-Based)
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
- Work on instrumentation including transmitters, analysers, and control systems
- Support electrical maintenance across site systems
- Assist with plant breakdowns and fault finding
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Work with vendors and specialist service engineers
- Support isolations and safe systems of work (permit systems)
- Liaise with contractors and ensure safe execution of work
- Participate in call-outs and support plant outside normal hours
Requirements:
- NVQ or Apprenticeship in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
- Approximately 4 to 5 years' experience in maintenance within process, energy, or industrial environments
- Experience working with instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
- Understanding of plant operations and safe working practices
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
