Job Title: Instrumentation & Control Supervisor

Working Location: Qatar Offshore

Contract Type: Contract role for 36 months

Work Schedule: 28 days on and 28 days off

Job Purpose:
Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown & Hook up Instrument & Control discipline representing the company, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, integrity, and project objectives. Coordinate with Operations and Contractors to drive efficient Brownfields and Hook up execution and commissioning and deliver operational excellence during the offshore execution phase.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols and regulations during offshore execution process.
2. Coordinate and ensure successful Offshore Brownfield & Hook up execution including commissioning to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, protection of existing asset integrity, Schedule, and others as appropriate).
3. Supervise and control the activities of Contractor/Subcontractors related to Brownfield & Hookup execution, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation, and applicable International Standards.
4. Check constructability aspects, as well as compliance to all technical requirements of deliverables provided by Engineering, Brownfields, Hook up Team Contractor.
5. Review problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
6. Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all subjects covering Mechanical completion, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning to ensure progress follow-up and reporting.
7. Supervise Permit to Work (PTW) meetings with Operations and contractor, coordinate with all LNG Host to deliver PTW to contractor strictly following methods statements and JSA approved.
8. Report any concerns regarding your discipline if not aligned with LNG Rules to your line management.
9. Improve safety culture during offshore execution and on Marine Unit (JUB, Work Boat), following up and closing all safety actions under your responsibility perimeter.
10. Participate in REX (Return of Experience) and Lessons Learned for the company.

Requirements:

Qualifications
- High national diploma

Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years of experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines (construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas industry.

Technical and Business Skills
- Experience with Oil and Gas organizations, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, Brownfield Execution & Commissioning, and Hook up, as applicable to the project scope.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, and operations as applicable to project scope.
- Understanding of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
