Job Title: Business Division Manager (EPC-3/4/BOP)

Contract Type:
36 months contract role

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage business functions in a project execution environment within the oil and gas industry, covering all phases of project execution including start up, handover, and resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee contractor, subcontractor, service provider, and vendor personnel, ensuring effective performance and compliance with requirements.
- Lead and coordinate multiple EPC contracts and execution teams on large greenfield developments.
- Apply project management and engineering practices, including cost control, work planning, and activity scheduling.
- Implement and monitor project planning, scheduling, cost control, project gating systems, project execution plans, risk management, change management, interface management, commissioning, and handover processes and procedures.
- Work effectively in large-scale operating organizations across operations, projects, subsurface, and integrated teams.
- Conduct robust risk assessments and support decision making based on sound commercial and technical judgment.
- Manage contracts and lead negotiations, driving strong contractor performance and adherence to contractual obligations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:

Knowledge and Experience:
- Twelve (12) years' experience in a business function, including:
- Eight (8) years in the oil and gas industry
- Three (3) years in a supervisory or acting role, or in oversight of contractor/subcontractor/service/vendor personnel
- Strong experience in a project execution environment within the oil and gas industry, including project management and engineering with a focus on cost control, work planning, and scheduling.
- Experience in large greenfield developments with multiple EPC contracts and execution teams.
- Extensive experience with oil and gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies in the oil and gas sector.
- Broad experience and demonstrated competence across all phases of project execution, including start up and handover, and managing technical issues.
- Broad knowledge of:
- Project planning and scheduling
- Cost control
- Project gating systems
- Project execution plans
- Risk management
- Change management
- Interface management
- Commissioning and handover processes and procedures
- Experience working in large-scale operating organizations (operations, projects, subsurface, etc.) and in integrated organizational structures.
- Experience working in Qatar or the Middle East region is highly desirable.

Technical and Business Skills:
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to manage all phases of project execution, including start up, handover, and resolution of technical challenges.
- Strong risk assessment capability and a structured approach to decision making.
- Strong skills in contract management, negotiations, and contractor management.
