About the Project
You will be supporting the Zuluf AM Upgrade Phase II, a major offshore oilfield development initiative. The scope includes upgrading 21 wellhead platforms and 3 tie-in platforms with 140 Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs), installing 23 kilometers of subsea flow lines, and laying 112 kilometers of 15kV composite submarine power cables. EPC activities are being executed across NMDC (Abu Dhabi) and Lamprell (Sharjah).
Role Overview
The Site Superintendent – Structural Engineer will lead the on-site supervision of structural and civil engineering works, particularly the fabrication and upgrade of offshore facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring technical compliance, managing contractor performance, and reviewing key design documents to support safe, efficient, and code-compliant execution.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise structural and civil engineering activities at the fabrication site.

Review and approve structural engineering deliverables including calculations, layouts, and specifications.

Coordinate engineering scopes for modular steel structures, heavy equipment foundations, pipe racks, process structures, and blast-resistant buildings.

Manage engineering contractor and vendor scope compliance during FEED and EPC phases.

Ensure design compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, BS, IBC).

Review and process technical change requests, coordinate alignment of change scope with contractors.

Support construction readiness reviews and participate in constructability workshops.

Interface with multidisciplinary teams to maintain schedule, cost, and quality targets.
Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
-
10 to 15 years of experience in oil and gas projects, particularly offshore structures.

Previous involvement with Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.

Experience in EPC/FEED environments and offshore structural fabrication supervision.

Proficiency with international codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, IBC).
Skills and Competencies:

Strong technical and analytical capability.

Effective communicator with the ability to manage technical discussions.

Familiarity with contractor oversight and QA/QC in an EPC context.

Strong focus on safety, planning, and results-driven project execution.
