Sr. System Engineer (Development) - Power Platform Solution

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical focal point for backend management, database accountability (queries, scripts, etc.), and user support in collaboration with vendors for the assigned system.
• Utilize expertise in Intersystems Healthcare Database, Caché ObjectScript, and Intersystems Trakcare application to ensure seamless system operations.
• Apply experience in the .NET Framework to contribute to system development and enhancement.
• Participate in data extraction and report development to provide valuable insights.
• Create and modify crystal reports to generate comprehensive and informative reports.
• Manage and maintain Oracle Database and MS SQL Database for efficient data management and system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CACHE scripts for custom reports, automated tasks, and extraction reports.
• Login to Windows Servers to install applications, modify registry keys, and manage application services.
• Troubleshoot minor issues in custom development done in ASP.NET (VB, C#).
• Run queries in SQL and Oracle databases to extract and update data as needed.
• Address application-related issues and enhancements raised by end users, providing workarounds or coordinating with relevant teams to fulfill requirements, including managing changes (patches, updates, or new implementations) as the Application Focal Point.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering/Business field.
• Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience.
• Expertise in TrakCare System, with strong backend management and database skills.
• Background in FHIR-based integrations for system data exchange.
• Experience in hospital or government medical entities is acceptable and preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networks, systems, desktop applications, and databases.
• Ability to multitask and support changes in a dynamic environment.
• Expertise in remote technical support roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with Intersystems Healthcare Database, Caché ObjectScript, .NET Framework, Crystal Reports, Oracle Database, and MS SQL Database.
• Familiarity with data extraction techniques and report development.
• Experience in the GCC region is preferred.
