Job Title: Sr. Piping Engineer - Stress
Working Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract Type: 12-month contract position
Role Purpose:
Lead piping stress and flexibility analysis for offshore piping systems, ensuring integrity, compliance, and supportability. Senior stress roles commonly involve code-based analysis, support design, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and review piping stress and flexibility analysis.
- Evaluate loads, displacements, thermal expansion, and nozzle loads.
- Design and review pipe supports, spring hangers, and specialty items.
- Support technical reviews and issue stress calculations and reports.
- Coordinate with layout, mechanical, and structural teams.
- Support construction and troubleshooting of stress-related issues.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong offshore piping stress experience.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 or relevant piping codes.
