Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week onsite)
Contract Type: Contractor
Assignment Length: 01-Aug-2025 to 31-Jan-2026 (extension potential)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (8 hours per day)

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a DevOps Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation at the heart of green energy innovation. You will become a key member of the Systems Team, contributing to strategic cloud infrastructure migrations, driving observability implementations, and playing a central role in defining cross-team processes and operations.

This role offers the chance to work across a broad technology stack involving Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), AWS, Azure, GitHub Actions, and Terraform — in a highly collaborative international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support AKS to EKS cloud migration projects.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient Kubernetes clusters on AWS (Azure exposure advantageous).

  • Build and optimise CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, and help transform Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions workflows.

  • Enhance Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices to promote automation, self-service provisioning, and operational efficiency.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Kubernetes and IaC, guiding feature teams with best practice consultancy.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and release management to streamline delivery processes.

  • Collaborate with architects, security specialists, and platform engineers to ensure infrastructure aligns with security, compliance, and operational standards.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, specifically EKS and AKS.

  • Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, including Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform.

  • Practical experience building and managing GitHub Actions workflows.

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes observability solutions (e.g. Grafana Labs or similar).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with AKS to EKS migration projects.

  • Familiarity with the Purdue Model for OT environments.

  • Experience with JFrog Artifactory and Helm charts.

  • Exposure to Agile and SAFe methodologies in international teams.

Additional Information
