Senior Python Developer - Automation and Integration
Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid - Minimum 3 Days Office Attendance)
Contract Type: Contractor
Assignment Length: Initial contract until 31-Oct-2025 (with potential for further extensions)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

This role will focus on supporting a significant migration project and developing advanced automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Job Description
The Python Developer will play a key role in migrating an existing on-premise automation platform to its SaaS counterpart. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimising custom automation playbooks, integrations, and interfaces. The successful candidate will also support internal teams with mentorship, training, and enablement to build and maintain automation solutions independently.
Key Responsibilities

Support the migration of the existing on-premise automation platform to a SaaS environment.

Design, develop, and maintain custom automation playbooks, workflows, and integrations.

Enhance, debug, and optimise Python-based automation interfaces.

Develop and maintain performant SQL queries for data processing and integration with external databases.

Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to internal teams to enable self-service automation capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet business requirements.

Apply best practices in scripting, coding standards, and security principles throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience

Extensive experience with automation platforms, playbook development, scripting, troubleshooting, and applying automation best practices.

Strong Python development skills with a focus on integration, clean coding, and performance optimisation.

Solid experience in writing efficient SQL queries, manipulating data, and integrating with third-party data sources.

Ability to coach, mentor, and enable internal teams to build and maintain their own automation solutions.

Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and security automation principles is an advantage.
