Senior Project Expeditor
Location: Singapore, with factory visits as required
Contract Type: 6-month contract
Purpose
Protect the project schedule from delays due to long lead items such as thruster gears, crane materials, DP equipment, electrical equipment, and generator parts. Effective management of long lead items is a critical success factor.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Prepare and submit weekly expediting reports
- Conduct factory visits as required to monitor progress
- Mitigate delivery risks to maintain project timelines
Experience Required
- Experience in offshore or marine project procurement and expediting
- Familiarity with supplier bases in South East Asia and China
