Senior Crane Engineer
Working Location: Singapore and ChinaContract Type: 12 months
Purpose
Serve as the technical authority for the ZPMC main crane, boom repair, crane readiness, and lifting systems. This is a critical role focused on one of the highest risk areas of VE3500.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities related to the ZPMC crane
- Manage interface with ABS (American Bureau of Shipping)
- Review repair plans for the crane and associated systems
- Review welding procedures to ensure compliance and safety
- Manage load testing operations
- Oversee crane commissioning processes
- Support the development of future boom replacement strategies
Experience Required
- Specialist knowledge of heavy lift cranes
- Experience with offshore construction vessels
- Experience interfacing with ABS or other classification societies
