Senior Civil Structural Engineer Offshore

Job Summary
- Opportunity for an experienced Civil Structural Engineer to support offshore oil and gas engineering projects across concept development FEED detailed design and commissioning phases

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical design and engineering support for offshore civil and structural engineering projects
- Deliver engineering activities from concept definition through FEED detailed design and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with company engineering standards safety procedures environmental requirements and industry codes
- Conduct engineering studies technical assessments and in house site surveys
- Review technical deviations variations and engineering documentation for compliance with approved standards and practices
- Support the review and development of internal engineering standards and amendments to external codes
- Coordinate with multi discipline engineering teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Develop and review engineering scopes of work ensuring clarity and completeness
- Review and approve contractor method statements and resolve technical issues where required
- Support project planning scheduling and progress monitoring activities
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and contractor assessment activities
- Review and assess contract variations and engineering change requests
- Support knowledge sharing and development of technical competency within the engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer Professional Engineer or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 10 years post graduate engineering experience
- Minimum 6 years experience within the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of offshore civil and structural engineering standards codes and industry practices
- Proven ability to manage engineering quality cost and schedule within multi project environments
- Experience supporting FEED detailed design and commissioning activities
- Strong communication coordination and presentation skills
- Fluent English communication skills required
