- International sites including locations in Mumbai (engineering), Oman (Sohar - worksite activities), and Qatar Al Shaheen (site activities)

POSITION IN ORGANIZATION
- Reports to: Commissioning Manager - Major Projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the Commissioning Team for the RUYA Batch 1 RP Project for both Greenfield (Riser Platform) and Brownfield (associated platforms) scopes, overseeing both preparation and execution phases onshore and offshore
- Managing teams of Commissioning discipline leads/supervisors (up to 30 staff), including ten commissioning discipline Leaders and an ICAPS/Completion coordination team
- Reviewing and approving Commissioning Management and Technical procedures; overseeing operational test procedures and leak test packs
- Supervising technical requisition documents relevant to commissioning, including training, spares, tools, schedules, and vendor plans
- Participating in HAZID, cybersecurity risk assessments, HAZOP, SIL, Ex Inspections/Audits, and 3D model reviews
- Coordinating activities between commissioning, construction, and field operations teams
- Assisting with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for major/critical equipment
- Preparing the overall commissioning plan
- Ensuring safety processes are implemented and adhered to during commissioning activities
- Monitoring and witnessing pre-commissioning activities and reviewing commissioning dossiers
- Recommending and ensuring corrective actions for project safety and performance concerns
- Approving completion documentation and transfer of operational and maintenance dossiers
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Overseeing the development of one Riser Platform (bridge-linked to existing platform and accommodating all risers/J tubes from nine wellhead platforms)
- Managing early production phase interfaces and handling complex interactions with subsea, pipeline, and cable packages
- Leading activities across both Greenfield and Brownfield environments designed for future operational coherence
- Coordinating execution at contractor premises and interfacing with various project stakeholders globally
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
- 15-20 years of offshore oil & gas industry experience, including at least 8-10 years in a management commissioning role
- Demonstrated leadership with strong problem resolution, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Availability for international technical missions
- Familiarity with general industry specifications, commissioning systems (such as OPERCOM and ICAPS), document management (e.g., PRODOM), and relevant standards and codes
- Fluent in English and computer literate
- Comfortable working in a complex, multicultural project environment
- Possession of H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certifications
