Project Reporting Lead
Location: Qatar (Onshore - Doha)Contract Type: 36 months initial contract, with possibility to extend
Job Purpose
The Project Reporting Lead is responsible for providing strong analytical, reporting, and technical writing support across major projects. The role coordinates and delivers executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and other management deliverables to provide clear, accurate, and timely visibility of project progress, performance, forecasts, risks, and key issues. The position works closely with multidisciplinary project teams and various corporate functions and may interface with senior management and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and steward project reporting and governance activities across multiple projects.
- Collect, consolidate, integrate, validate, and reformat project information from multiple sources, including progress data, tables, graphs, metrics, and supporting documentation.
- Develop high-quality executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and other management deliverables.
- Prepare clear reporting covering project status, progress performance, forecasts, trends, identified deficits, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Develop, maintain, and report KPIs and project progress metrics, ensuring information is appropriately presented for different audiences, including senior management, project teams, and key stakeholders.
- Produce timely and concise governance reports that provide transparent visibility of project performance and enable early escalation of potential concerns.
- Coordinate interfaces between project teams and other stakeholders, using effective communication and influence to drive alignment and issue resolution.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across projects in accordance with established procedures, plans, reporting requirements, and governance processes.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and project analysis requests from management and stakeholders, including time-sensitive requirements, while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Proactively engage with project teams and relevant departments to resolve reporting issues and support effective planning and execution of project activities.
- Ensure activities are performed in accordance with applicable HSE, quality, compliance, confidentiality, and corporate governance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant business function or discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 1 year of supervisory/acting responsibility or experience overseeing contractor, subcontractor, service provider, or vendor personnel.
- Previous experience working with a National Oil Company (NOC) or International Oil Company (IOC) is advantageous.
