About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Control Engineer to play a key role in the planning, monitoring, and control of complex offshore brownfield projects. Working on major Oil & Gas assignments, this position is integral to ensuring projects remain on track, on budget, and delivered to the highest standards. The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, an ability to work collaboratively across global teams, and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and cost forecasts covering the full project lifecycle.

  • Monitor progress against established baselines, identify deviations, and support the implementation of corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate project control inputs.

  • Support risk analysis, change management processes, and trend forecasting activities.

  • Prepare clear and timely project status reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Coordinate inputs for project reviews, audits, and commercial reporting obligations.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client reporting requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within project control systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project controls within the Oil & Gas sector.

  • Proven experience managing offshore brownfield projects.

  • Proficient in Primavera P6, cost control tools, and earned value management techniques.

  • Previous exposure to projects in the Middle East is advantageous.

  • Experience within consultancy or EPC environments.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
