A global chemical manufacturing company operating a high-capacity facility in Manchester. The plant comprises eight batch reactor systems, raw material and product tank farms, product packaging, and support services including Quality Control and Product Development. Operating 24/7, the facility produces over 150 chemical products, shipped worldwide in bulk or packaged formats, with an annual output of approximately 24,000 MT.
Job Description / Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update P&IDs, procedures, and documentation associated with previously implemented Management of Change (MoC) processes

Support projects aimed at improving the labelling and identification of site equipment and pipework

Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of the plant

Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or a closely related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the chemical industry

Strong understanding of P&ID documentation, process operations, and MoC procedures

Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment
