Shifts: 2 Days / 2 Nights (12-hour shifts), followed by 4 days off
We’re partnering with a globally recognised chemical manufacturing company in the North West, currently recruiting five Process Operators to join their established operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with plant operations experience to join a safety-focused site that offers excellent training, strong team culture, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate site pumps, tanks, and transfer lines as part of daily plant routines.

Carry out sample collection, operational tank dips, and tank temperature readings according to standing instructions.

Manage product routing, rundown, and transfer processes to ensure safe and efficient storage and shipping readiness.

Perform pipeline and perimeter fence inspections, ensuring site integrity and safety.

Operate fire pumps and mains as part of emergency preparedness protocols.

Maintain accurate logs, update operations boards, and conduct thorough handovers between shifts.

Monitor daily fuel and steam usage and support plant performance targets.

Follow site safety and environmental procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Prior experience working in a process, chemical, or manufacturing plant environment.

Basic computer literacy and ability to learn company-specific software systems.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

High attention to detail and the ability to follow safety-critical instructions precisely.
