Job Title: Process Operator

Shifts: 2 Days / 2 Nights (12-hour shifts), followed by 4 days off

We’re partnering with a globally recognised chemical manufacturing company in the North West, currently recruiting five Process Operators to join their established operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with plant operations experience to join a safety-focused site that offers excellent training, strong team culture, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate site pumps, tanks, and transfer lines as part of daily plant routines.

  • Carry out sample collection, operational tank dips, and tank temperature readings according to standing instructions.

  • Manage product routing, rundown, and transfer processes to ensure safe and efficient storage and shipping readiness.

  • Perform pipeline and perimeter fence inspections, ensuring site integrity and safety.

  • Operate fire pumps and mains as part of emergency preparedness protocols.

  • Maintain accurate logs, update operations boards, and conduct thorough handovers between shifts.

  • Monitor daily fuel and steam usage and support plant performance targets.

  • Follow site safety and environmental procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

  • Prior experience working in a process, chemical, or manufacturing plant environment.

  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn company-specific software systems.

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to follow safety-critical instructions precisely.
