Job Title: Process Engineering Lead

Job Purpose:
The Process Engineering Lead will oversee Process Engineering activities related to Utilities and Offsites. You will be responsible for ensuring that the engineering design meets project specifications and objectives. This includes managing technical evaluations, equipment sizing, design execution, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The role demands attention to the full production lifecycle, ensuring all aspects of the design are met and in compliance with project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Process Engineering activities, ensuring the delivery of studies, calculations, simulations, design development, and technical evaluations.
- Work closely with the engineering team to align project needs and ensure deliverables are on track and compliant with all regulations.
- Schedule and plan the Process Engineering deliverables for efficient project execution.
- Review the contractor's process engineering deliverables, ensuring proper adherence to project specifications, design standards, and procedures.
- Ensure that the quality of Process Engineering activities complies with the project execution schedule and standards.
- Provide input to the technical documentation and scope descriptions for fabrication and construction contracts.
- Ensure compliance with change management procedures for any design modifications.
- Capture and communicate lessons learned to support future projects.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in Process Engineering for utilities and offsite systems.
- Previous experience in FEED and EPC detailed design phases for oil and gas facilities.
- Strong technical skills in designing utility systems, such as steam, air, nitrogen, water/effluent treatment, and desalination.
- In-depth understanding of LNG process design and engineering execution, including the design standards and safety criteria involved.
- Strong management, prioritisation, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with large utility systems within the oil and gas sector.
- Knowledge of design standards, codes, and safety regulations for onshore facilities.
