Junior HSE Advisor – Offshore Wind Sector
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, UK
Contract Duration: 01-Jul-2025 to 31-Dec-2025 (Potential Extension)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
We are supporting a global leader in the green energy sector to identify a proactive Junior HSE Advisor to join their offshore wind operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support HSE performance, focusing on safety reporting, risk rating, and incident management within a high-performing offshore asset environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the safety reporting system, accurately risk rating reported incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.

Assign reports and actions to the correct risk owners, ensuring timely and effective resolution of safety concerns.

Coordinate and track corrective actions, holding stakeholders accountable for delivery against agreed timescales.

Act as the central point of contact for incident reporting and safety data management.

Work closely with offshore managers, QHSE teams, engineering support, warehouse leaders, logistics, and quality assurance teams.

Report directly to the Head of Asset Performance within the nearshore operations team.
Requirements:

NEBOSH qualification (preferred but not essential).

Strong IT skills with proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in risk scoring, including potential and actual consequence assessments.

Confident in coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving timely action closure.
