Overview
We are supporting a major player in the energy sector in hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a high-priority automation and governance initiative. The goal is to transform and streamline firewall request handling—introducing full lifecycle and configuration management while enhancing compliance, traceability, and operational efficiency.
You'll coordinate across a complex, multi-domain IT environment and drive the delivery of a LEAN, auditable, and secure workflow. If you’re a strategic thinker with a background in IT infrastructure, network security, and automation, this is a compelling contract opportunity based in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a major IT automation project from initiation through to transition to operations.

Oversee integration of firewall request workflows, configuration management, and lifecycle governance.

Coordinate with architecture, operations, and IT security to define and implement RASCI models.

Align project deliverables with internal frameworks, architecture standards, and security requirements.

Engage stakeholders across multiple IT domains (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, security).

Support planning, tool evaluations, risk identification, and steer committee presentations.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation supporting auditability and rule traceability.

Track milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies; ensure operational readiness at handover.
Skills & Experience Required

8+ years managing complex IT infrastructure or security-focused projects.

Demonstrated experience with automation or LEAN process initiatives.

Familiarity with multi-domain firewall systems (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).

Strong understanding of modern network architecture and security governance.

Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders in a matrix organisation.

Experience with network access control, segmentation, and rule lifecycle processes.

Fluency in Swedish and English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications

University degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
