Overview
We are seeking an Information Management (IM) Lead to oversee project information systems for a large-scale CO2 Sequestration project. The role ensures effective implementation of IM processes, procedures, and data verification tools, and coordinates the interface between FEED and EPC contractors to deliver accurate, consistent, and compliant project documentation.
Reporting & Interfaces
- Reports to: Head of Information Management
- Direct reports: 2
- Internal: Frequent interaction with project team members
- External: EPC contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the document review process, procedures, and systems to ensure efficient workflow and transmittal of project deliverables
- Provide training to project teams and contractors on EDMS systems to ensure compliance with project documentation requirements
- Implement and maintain project information management plans, policies, processes, and controls
- Oversee contractor IM processes to ensure contractual compliance and address gaps or anomalies
- Support IM and document control teams in managing documentation processes, correspondence, and numbering philosophies
- Ensure validation and consistency of data across engineering design tools, databases, and EDMS systems
- Administer and implement SharePoint and other EDMS platforms, including access control and IT compliance
- Apply systematic problem-solving to resolve IM issues with minimal guidance, within delegated authority and project timeframes
- Provide guidance on project information security, confidentiality, and compliance awareness
- Support delivery of Final Completion Dossiers and handover documentation to operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 8 years of information management experience, preferably in technical project environments within oil and gas
- Strong IT skills, including SharePoint and database concepts
- Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Knowledge of documentation processes, quality audits, and final document handover standards and best practices
- Experience working with EPC contractors, vendors, and oil and gas project teams
