Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Expediting and Logistics to lead global supply chain execution for LNG production and offshore operations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of critical materials through a digitally empowered, risk-resilient, and sustainable logistics framework. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical depth, leadership, and innovation to elevate supply chain performance across international markets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust logistics and expediting strategy to support high-complexity LNG operations and offshore project timelines.

  • Lead global supplier performance programs, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contract compliance across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

  • Develop and operate a centralized Supply Chain Control Tower for real-time visibility into global freight movements, compliance risks, and supplier performance.

  • Manage regulatory and customs compliance for cross-border operations, liaising with port authorities and government agencies to ensure seamless logistics execution.

  • Oversee logistics for specialized cargo, including ultra-heavy LNG equipment, requiring route assessments, charters, and international transport permits.

  • Drive digital transformation by implementing RPA, AI-based prioritization, and automation of expediting functions to enhance speed and accuracy.

  • Negotiate strategic freight partnerships and vendor contracts to optimize costs and ensure reliable delivery schedules.

  • Lead and develop a high-performance logistics team with a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.

  • Champion green logistics and sustainability initiatives to reduce emissions and improve efficiency across logistics operations.

  • Implement proactive supply chain risk management frameworks to safeguard against global disruptions and operational bottlenecks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related Commercial discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.

  • Proven knowledge of international supply chain operations, government regulations, and logistics best practices.

  • Experience managing customs, freight forwarding, expediting, and vendor performance in high-value projects.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure environments.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and exposure to digital tools for logistics optimization.

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
