We’re working with a leading global manufacturing organisation in the chemical industry, currently seeking two skilled Electrical Technicians to join their Manchester-based facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following safety standards and contributing to related initiatives.

Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across a variety of plant equipment and systems.

Diagnose faults and identify root causes of electrical failures; implement reliable solutions.

Ensure plant equipment meets operational, housekeeping, and environmental standards.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment and maintenance records.

Log maintenance activity using SAP and comply with all related work processes.

Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.

Undertake additional tasks related to site maintenance as required.
What You’ll Need:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

HNC/HND is desirable.

At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in heavy industrial sectors such as chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or paper manufacturing.

Familiarity with SAP systems (basic navigation) is advantageous.

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
