Kintec Global Recruitment is entering its next phase of international growth with a strengthened global leadership structure and increased investment in artificial intelligence, proprietary technology and operational development.
The new structure creates clearer accountability across Group strategy, global recruitment operations, technology and finance, while ensuring Kintec has the leadership and infrastructure needed to continue scaling internationally.
At the centre of this next chapter is a significant focus on technology. Rather than simply adopting off-the-shelf AI tools, Kintec is investing in proprietary systems built specifically around our people, processes, clients and international operations.
Strengthening Our Global Leadership
Neil McCarthy will remain Group Chief Executive Officer, continuing to lead the overall direction and strategy of the Kintec Group.
Neil will also retain responsibility for the continued growth and expansion of our New York operation, which has developed a strong team and continues to perform well.
Anthony Vernon has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, taking responsibility for Kintec’s recruitment operations globally.
Having been with Kintec for 15 years, Anthony brings extensive experience in managing international businesses, growing significant P&Ls and establishing operations in new markets.
Throughout his career with Kintec, Anthony has led or supported business start-ups across Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Batam, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Houston.
His appointment creates a single point of global leadership for our recruitment operations, helping us drive greater consistency, collaboration and accountability across the countries and markets in which we operate.
Building the Next Generation of Recruitment Technology
Rory Bowers has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, leading the design and development of Kintec’s AI systems and wider technology strategy.
Rory has spent 25 years with Kintec, progressing from recruiter to CEO and building extensive operational, commercial and leadership experience along the way.
That understanding of recruitment is particularly important to our approach to AI.
Our ambition isn’t simply to introduce more technology into the business. We want to build technology around the way great recruiters actually work.
By combining the expertise of our people with proprietary AI systems, we aim to automate repetitive administration, improve access to information, support better decision-making and create greater consistency across our global operations.
Most importantly, technology should give our people more time to focus on the areas where human expertise matters most: relationships, judgement, problem-solving and understanding the needs of clients and candidates.
Rory Bowers, Chief Technology Officer, said:
“Our teams across every division have been excellent at adopting AI into their workflows, and the next step is to work closely with them to develop proprietary systems that learn from their expertise, actions and feedback.
“Our aim is simple: automate repetitive administration, support human-led decision-making and give our people more time to focus on the work they enjoy most and where their judgement, experience and relationships add the greatest value.”
Investing in Proprietary AI
The creation of a dedicated Chief Technology Officer role represents a significant step in Kintec’s long-term technology strategy.
Rather than relying solely on standard AI platforms, we are investing in bespoke systems designed specifically around Kintec.
These systems will focus on improving areas including productivity, operational consistency, candidate delivery, decision-making and client service.
Our people will play an important role in that development. By learning from the expertise, actions and feedback of teams across our divisions, we can build technology that complements how our people work rather than attempting to replace it.
The result is an approach to AI that remains fundamentally human-led.
Strengthening Our Financial Leadership
Daniel Harrison has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, continuing to lead Kintec’s financial strategy, systems, reporting and controls.
Daniel will provide financial and commercial support to our global leadership team and international operations as the business continues to scale.
Together, the new leadership structure creates clear global accountability across four key areas: strategy, recruitment operations, technology and finance.
Neil McCarthy, Group Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Kintec is entering an important new phase of growth. This leadership structure gives us greater clarity across the business and ensures that each area is led by people with deep experience and a clear mandate.
“Our investment in AI is central to that strategy. Our focus is on building practical, proprietary systems that improve how our people work, strengthen the service we provide to clients and create long-term value for the business.
“By combining deep recruitment expertise, international operational leadership, strong financial management and dedicated technology investment, we are creating a stronger platform for Kintec’s future growth.”
Building Kintec for the Future
Kintec has grown by combining specialist recruitment expertise with a strong understanding of the international markets in which our clients operate.
As those markets evolve, so must we.
Our strengthened leadership structure provides the foundations for our next phase of growth, bringing together international operational expertise, financial leadership and dedicated investment in technology.
AI will be an increasingly important part of that future, but our approach remains centred around people.
By using technology to remove repetitive work, improve processes and give our teams better tools, we can allow our people to spend more time doing what they do best: building relationships, solving complex workforce challenges and connecting exceptional talent with opportunities around the world.
This is the next stage of Kintec’s growth: global expertise, strengthened leadership and technology built around people.
