Job Title: WTG Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Gdansk, Poland
Contract Start Date: 22 June 2026
Contract End Date: 30 June 2027 (option to extend)
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Job Description
Monitor quality and progress during the manufacturing of wind turbine towers at the supplier site in Poland, including checking NCR rectification or retrofit works at the pre-assembly site.
Responsibilities:

Witness supplier works

Witness supplier inspection and test activities

Follow up on manufacturing progress
-
Report non-conformities and observations
Tasks:
-
Participate in final inspections and final walkdowns
-
Monitor production activities and production documentation through spot checks
-
Monitor product quality and participate in FAI / FAT activities
-
Report non-conformities detected during inspection, testing, and manufacturing
-
Report relevant quality issues in the client NCR system
-
Follow up on preservation and maintenance of components at the supplier’s storage area
-
Follow up on manufacturing progress in line with the agreed project manufacturing schedule
-
Track trends relating to repeated non-conformities and manufacturing errors, and follow up with the supplier on corrective and preventive actions

Document daily work and inspections to the WTG Fabrication & Quality Manager

Prioritise participation in inspections, process monitoring, and test activities based on failure trends and criticality

Review quality-related as-built documentation

Highlight relevant HSE-related issues

Working Schedule:

Night shift work is not planned but may occur as an exception
Additional Comments:

Consultant must bring own PPE (personal protective equipment) and a flashlight

Consultant should preferably live close to the manufacturing site

Weekend work is not planned but may occur as an exception

Travel and inspections at other tower manufacturing sites in Europe may occur as an exception
-
Access and work restrictions due to HSE requirements may be applied by the supplier and could limit chargeable workdays
Qualifications:
-
Mandatory technical education and knowledge in the mechanical field (e.g. welding of steel structures, bolt assembly, non-destructive testing, component measurements)

Recommended technical education and knowledge in the electrical field (low voltage assembly and testing)
-
Recommended technical education and knowledge in metallising and painting of steel structures
-
Recommended minimum 3 years’ experience within the wind and/or manufacturing industry

Recommended minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
-
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and smartphone applications for digital inspections
-
Safety training is an advantage
Language Skills:
