Job Title: Works Manager - Electrical and electrotechnical
Location: Gdansk - Poland
Client: Leading Global Green Energy Major - Wind
Assignment Length: Initial contract until 31-Dec-2026 with expectation of further extensions
Assignment Type: Contractor
Work Schedule: 5 days a week/ 8 Hour per day
JOB DESCRIPTION
Description:
- Planning and coordinating works based on contract requirements, technical documentation, and Polish regulations
- Providing input and guidance on performing construction works in compliance with Polish regulations
- Supervising works together with employer's installation managers
- Technical acceptance of works performed by the contractor
- Collecting necessary material certificates
- Preparing as-built documentation and other documents necessary during the execution of works
These areas are being considered for the works manager:
- Supervising electrical and electrotechnical works
- Supervising telecommunication works: fiber optic cable splicing, jointing, installing a FO-splice box, etc. Additionally, it will be required to review and approve documents, process design changes, and make records in the construction logbook
- Supervising hydrotechnical & construction works
Requirements:
- Specific skills, trainings, certifications (attach copies of licenses/certifications in the candidate profile):
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) required
- Construction qualifications to manage construction works - unlimited license to supervise works in the following areas:
- Supervising electrical and electrotechnical works
- Supervising telecommunication works: fiber optic cable splicing, jointing, installing a FO-splice box, etc. Additionally, it will be required to review and approve documents, process design changes, and make records in the construction logbook
- Supervising hydrotechnical & construction works
- Experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD
- Communication skills and good organizational abilities
- Focus on HSE
- Willingness to work partly on-site and partly remote
- Category B driving license
- Candidates need to have hands on experience and relevant government credentials.
- Would be nice: living close to the project site (Pomeranian area, Gdańsk/Gdynia/Sopot).
Client is not providing or covering any type of offshore training.Candidates are expected to have this in place as needed:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS)
- Medical certificate
- HSE training
