Job Title: Works Manager

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Works Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Gdańsk. This is a long-term opportunity for a proactive professional with proven site supervision experience and relevant construction credentials.
This role involves overseeing multidisciplinary works, ensuring full compliance with Polish regulations, and coordinating closely with project stakeholders. You’ll be contributing to a high-profile green energy development, playing a key part in quality control, documentation, and on-site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate construction works according to contracts, designs, and Polish standards

Provide input to ensure compliance with all local regulations

Supervise works alongside the employer’s installation managers

Conduct technical acceptance of contractor works

Collect and validate material certificates and as-built documentation

Review and approve documentation, design changes, and site records
Focus Areas (Depending on Qualifications):

Electrical and electrotechnical works supervision
-
Telecommunication installations (e.g. fibre optic splicing, FO box installation)

Hydrotechnical and general construction works supervision
Requirements:

Fluent English (spoken and written)

Valid Polish construction licence for supervision (unlimited, relevant to disciplines listed above)

Demonstrable experience in a similar site management or supervision role

Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD

Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safety standards

Strong communication and organisational skills

Driving licence (Category B)

Willingness to work partly on-site and partly remotely

Must hold all relevant government certifications and supervision credentials
Preferred:

Residing in the Pomeranian region (Gdańsk/Gdynia/Sopot)

Offshore certification including:
-
GWO (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
-
HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET, and EBS
-
Medical and HSE certificates
