Overview
A leading renewable energy developer is seeking an experienced Wind Construction General Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale wind projects in the Philippines. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in scope, while upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) compliance and operational excellence.
This is a senior leadership role managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and Owner’s Engineers throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Project Initiation

Participate in tendering and contracting processes

Support designation and coordination of Owner’s Engineers (OE)

Ensure project planning aligns with company objectives and interests
Project Planning

Develop detailed plans for Turbine Supply Agreements (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BOP) works

Establish schedules, budgets, and milestones in coordination with project stakeholders
Project Execution

Lead project teams, including OE and contractors, to implement projects according to company standards

Facilitate issue resolution and manage project changes effectively

Ensure compliance with HS&E procedures and promote best practices on site
Monitoring and Controlling

Track project progress, comparing actual performance to planned schedules

Manage project budgets and control costs

Monitor milestone achievements and adjust plans as needed
Project Closing

Work with contractors to confirm project completion and contract closure

Review and validate third-party vendor deliverables

Archive project documentation for future reference

Requirements

Proven experience in wind construction project management, ideally in renewable energy

Strong leadership and team management skills

Deep understanding of HS&E standards and compliance in construction projects
