Job Title: Valve Supervisor

Job Summary:
A leading energy company is seeking a Valve Supervisor to oversee valve and pressure relief valve (PRV) repair activities in the workshop. The role ensures all onshore and offshore valve maintenance tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise valve and PRV repair activities in the workshop, optimising resource utilisation.

Ensure repairs and welding activities comply with international standards, codes, WPS, and company specifications.

Prepare and store PRV test reports according to company standards.

Track repair activities to ensure alignment with biweekly schedules.

Coordinate valve and PRV repair activities during normal operations and shutdowns, ensuring safety and quality.

Maintain valve and PRV test benches, performing periodic tests to meet company standards.

Ensure proper storage and usage of air compressors and nitrogen gas cylinders in compliance with company requirements.

Conduct toolbox talks (TBT) and job safety analyses (JSA) for all workshop activities.

Manage valve repair spare parts efficiently, returning unused materials to the warehouse with appropriate documentation.

Ensure valve calibration test benches are calibrated and certified by third-party providers according to company procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, specifically in valve repair.
Key Skills & Attributes:

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Computer literate, including MS Office.

Capable of conducting TBT and hazard identification.

Knowledge of API codes and standards.
