Assignment Description - UX Lead (Internal User Experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated UX Lead to play a key role in developing a new internal user interface for a large organisation. This assignment involves creating an overarching UX strategy and ensuring a consistent, accessible, and valuable user experience for employees across the business.
Working closely with the requirements and process teams, you will analyse existing workflows, lead needs assessments, and design solutions that support both business objectives and user needs. You will set the framework for the strategic UX work and guide the organisation towards a unified and sustainable user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and analyse current workflows and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead user interviews, observations, and workshops in collaboration with the requirements and process teams.
- Design user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma.
- Establish a comprehensive UX strategy and design framework for the organisation.
- Ensure solutions comply with accessibility standards (WCAG) and accommodate diverse user groups.
- Work closely with development teams to implement and iteratively improve solutions based on testing and feedback.
- Continuously evaluate the user experience and propose enhancements in collaboration with the requirements and process teams.
Candidate Profile
- Several years of experience in UX and design for complex systems or B2B environments.
- Experience with case management tools and familiarity with processes in industries such as insurance is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading workshops and driving user-centred processes with requirements and process teams.
- Knowledge of service design is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and UX principles.
- Ability to translate business goals and user needs into practical design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across functions and user groups.
