  • Our client has procured an NMMS (Network Model Management System) and an OMS (Outage Management System).

  • The vendor of the systems will deliver the applications that will be adapted to the client’s needs.

  • The vendor has, as part of the tender documentation, a suggested way of testing their applications.

  • In addition to that, the IT (supplying the hosting environment/IT infrastructure) needs to test the configuration.

  • El distribution then needs to run User Acceptance Tests.

  • All these activities should be managed by the applicant.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce a Test Management Plan, detailing how the Test and Verification process should be implemented, leading to a high confidence of verification of the requirements.

  • Produce test cases, create scenarios, etc., in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, IT, and the vendor.

  • Make sure there is full traceability from requirements to, eventually, fully tested (or otherwise verified) requirements.

  • Use Dev+ where the applicant is expected to manage the requirements cycle.

  • Attend as well as schedule/facilitate meetings when needed, both internally and with the vendor.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in planning, leading, executing, and following up tests in projects involving both internal resources and external suppliers, as well as experience in managing test activities within large organizations.

  • At least University/College Education.

  • Driven, communicative, solution-oriented.

  • Experience from working within the energy sector is a plus.
