The Role
As a Technical Quality Engineer, you will be at the heart of ensuring that projects are delivered "right first time." You'll work closely with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement and maintain robust quality control systems across the full project lifecycle.
This is a highly visible role where your input directly impacts project success, performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support project-wide quality control programmes
- Verify works on-site align with specifications and required standards
- Lead inspections, audits, and quality reviews across construction activities
- Collaborate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance and best practice
- Identify quality risks early and drive corrective and preventative actions
- Establish and maintain quality benchmarks with key stakeholders
- Promote a "right first time" mindset across all project phases
- Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Experience in quality engineering within construction or complex project environments
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and inspection procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence on-site teams
- Knowledge of European construction standards and regulations
