  • Maintain communication with external regulatory bodies on key operational information such as product quality, fiscal metering status, and daily balances.

  • Conduct engineering studies to resolve process integrity and performance issues, such as equipment deposits, oil filtration, and water treatment challenges.

  • Supervise facility upgrade works including new compression stages, satellite tie-ins, and plant modifications.

  • Lead and monitor internal process modification requests to improve operations.

  • Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date (P&IDs, procedures, operating manuals).

  • Prepare and manage operating budgets, capital expenditure forecasts, and procurement strategies.

  • Develop and maintain detailed operational schedules (short-term and medium-term planning).

  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Logistics, Projects, HSE, Contracts and Procurement teams to ensure facility reliability, availability, and material readiness.

  • Act as interim Director of the Production Centre as required.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in oil and gas production operations, ideally within large-scale processing facilities.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

  • Expertise in HSE management, permit systems, process safety, and operational procedures.

  • Solid understanding of gas processing, condensate, LPG recovery, and laboratory quality control.

  • Excellent planning, budgeting, and contract management skills.

  • Proven experience managing process modifications, plant upgrades, and facility optimisation.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.

  • Fluency in English (French is an advantage).
