Role: System Developer - MES / Functional Analyst

Project Overview:
As part of an ambitious digital transformation initiative, our client is developing a new Robotics Campus with a strong focus on data-driven production, productivity, and quality improvement. You will be part of a dynamic Factory IT & Digitalisation department, working alongside a team of fifteen engineers. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing through smart automation and digitalisation.
Assignment Scope:
The consultant will act as a Functional Analyst and system developer for MES solutions, supporting both projects and operational teams with process design, requirements analysis, and digitalisation strategies. You will help bridge the gap between IT and business, translating technical and process challenges into practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for data mapping across production lines.
- Perform business process mapping and develop proposals for process improvement.
- Act as a digitalisation advisor, collaborating closely with engineering teams on automated production projects.
- Support the development of data-driven solutions and integration with MES systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Solid experience in requirements analysis and working with business systems (preferably SAP).
- Strong understanding of business flows and digitalisation in the manufacturing sector.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the bigger picture.
- Self-driven, communicative, and confident navigating complex process landscapes.
Desirable Skills (Meritorious):
- Familiarity with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) metrics or production performance monitoring.
- Experience writing scripts (e.g. Python, Excel VBA).
- Previous use of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Proficiency in both English and Swedish is preferred.
