Key Responsibilities

Analyse global market trends and regulatory developments related to sustainable fuels to guide strategic planning and investment decisions

Evaluate new commercial opportunities in the sustainable fuels sector, including partnership potential and competitive positioning

Conduct technical and commercial reviews of emerging technologies and their impact on investment strategies

Engage with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry bodies, and technology partners

Manage and maintain a technology investment portfolio aligned with strategic business goals
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline

A minimum of 12 years’ experience in sustainable fuels, oil and gas, or related energy sectors

Strong technical and commercial knowledge of sustainable fuels, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and technology innovation

Proven stakeholder management and project coordination experience

Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in business development and market analysis within the low-carbon or sustainable fuels space

Familiarity with HEFA, Co-Processing, Power-to-Liquids (PtL), and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) pathways

Knowledge of HVO Diesel, Renewable Diesel (RD), and e-Fuels projects

MBA and/or CFA certification (preferred, not required)

Established network within the sustainable fuels industry
