Job Title: Surveyor - Pipeline Pre/Post Survey

Qualification
- B.Sc. or Higher Technical Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
- Membership of a recognized professional institution is advantageous.
Experience & Skills
- Strong expertise in field surveying equipment and survey software, including AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
- Proven experience in surveying for pipeline construction projects, including preparation/review of survey scope, method statements, supervision of contractor survey works, and validation of project deliverables.
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and provide technical advice on surveying and mapping issues.
- Familiarity with Corporate GIS data management and updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surveys and data collection to ensure Corporate GIS is up to date with accurate geospatial information.
- Conduct site engineering dimensional checks for ongoing civil construction projects to ensure compliance with design drawings.
- Provide technical guidance for in-house and outsourced projects to ensure survey methodologies are fit for purpose.
- Review technical aspects of tenders relating to surveying and mapping and participate in tender evaluation.
- Supervise and quality-assure contractor field activities, ensuring adherence to methodologies and health & safety requirements.
- Review contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Maintain survey equipment and stay informed of technological advances in Geomatics to recommend relevant updates.
- Develop and maintain procedures to standardize topographical surveying, site engineering, and mapping activities.
- Witness and advise on hydrographical surveys, LiDAR, and other contractor-led data collection activities.
