MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The SURF Installation Manager will be responsible for managing all installation activities and supporting the package manager on all installation matters within the team for a major offshore project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE, implement H3SE rules and requirements within your area of responsibility and comply with relevant H3SE training.
- Ensure HSE&Q issues are properly addressed in all technical documentation and raise comments on deviations or unjustified design choices impacting equipment during fabrication, installation, and production.
- Enforce safe working practices within the team as well as with contractors and vendors throughout all project phases.
- Promote and adhere to company ethics and "Code of Conduct" policies, and support the Anti-Corruption Program.
- Stay informed of company rules, specifications, and international norms and standards, extracting all applicable requirements for installation packages.
- Identify, implement, and manage installation engineering studies as required.
- Participate, in liaison with project planning, in the development of installation schedules.
- Develop and validate the SURF Installation Plan, installation schedule, and installation principles; identify key interfaces and propose mitigation plans.
- Define and maintain technical documentation related to the installation package. Support and contribute to the development of main project management documents.
- Ensure all aspects of installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning are correctly addressed during engineering phases by reviewing and validating relevant contractor documentation.
- Highlight deviations that could impact constructability and installation and propose solutions.
- Maintain daily liaison with contractors on installation engineering matters.
- Review and validate contractor progress; analyze/report any deviations and propose remedial actions.
- Liaise with other package teams to manage installation-related interfaces, in cooperation with interface leadership.
- Coordinate all activities of company representatives on installation vessels, supporting and directing personnel.
- Ensure clear communication between installation vessel representatives and management, distributing decisions and ensuring consistent progress and practices on all sites.
- Supervise and control installation of all equipment, ensuring QA/QC and H3SE policies are followed and contractor achievements are in line with contractual requirements.
- Participate in project reviews as per company standards.
- Supervise and control pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment and offshore installation.
- Ensure adequate and timely reporting to management; consolidate reports, concerns, and issues.
- Support management in relations with partners regarding technical matters, and participate in workshops and committee meetings as required.
- Ensure confidentiality of all project documentation.
- Gather lessons learned and provide feedback for future projects; participate in project close-out.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The role is part of the execution phase of a major multidisciplinary offshore project, involving development and management of reservoirs, FPSO, and subsea systems. The team works to maximize economic results, optimize reserves and schedule, reduce costs and greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining technical quality and stringent H3SE focus.

DURATION/LOCATION

- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 1 year, renewable; based in Paris area until end of 2026/Q1 2027, then possible relocation to Suriname with offshore missions (to be confirmed) until project completion.
- Status: Residential

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- BOSIET and HUET certifications
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
- 15 years of experience in large offshore oil & gas projects, with expertise in SURF engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning
- Experience with SURF contractors is a plus
- Strong technical, operational, and multitasking management skills
- Excellent team spirit; ability to manage relationships with internal and external teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
