Service Description:
The Service Provider is responsible for identifying and defining the scope of work, implementing, monitoring, and controlling all SURF transportation and installation activities. This includes studies, offshore works, analysis, recommendations, and validation. The objective is to manage contractor work during the execution phase in compliance with project specifications, TotalEnergies standards, discipline requirements, and international codes. Cost efficiency must be ensured without compromising schedule, quality, or safety.

Management & Governance

Propose alternative technical solutions when necessary.

Provide timely reporting to the SURF Technical Lead, flagging concerns early.

Participate in project reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, SPOT, PR) and relevant safety/technical audits.
Execution Phase Responsibilities

Participate in contractor selection during engineering, construction, and installation stages (RFQs, ITT documents, clarifications, award).

Review and validate contractor technical documentation (queries, deviations, design justification).

Highlight any unsafe or non-compliant design choices.

Attend regular contractor meetings.

Review installation sequences and propose improvements (SIMOPS, weather windows, equipment delivery).

Coordinate with all engineering and project package disciplines.

Ensure offshore work authorizations are obtained on time.

Participate in loadouts, installation phases, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Ensure safe working practices onboard installation vessels.

Support supervision during all offshore campaigns until commissioning.
Context & Environment
The role takes place as part of a major project in Suriname, coordinated by TotalEnergies for offshore Block 58. Key challenges include reservoir development, FPSO, subsea production, and injection systems. The project aims to maximize economic results by optimizing reserves and schedule while reducing costs and GHG emissions without compromising technical quality or HSE standards.
Qualifications & Experience Required

Master's degree in engineering (subsea pipelines/risers specialization preferred).

Minimum 15 years’ experience in deepwater Oil & Gas projects (onshore and offshore installation engineering).

Knowledge of TotalEnergies Referential and relevant codes/standards.

Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work in complex, multicultural environments.

Fluent in English (French is a plus).
