Sub-Project Manager - AV/IT Workplace
Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Office based in Sundbyberg, with up to 25% remote work)
Contract Type: Consultant Assignment
Assignment Period: 20 April 2026 - 19 April 2028 (with possibility to extend up to 19 April 2032 on a 1+1+1+1 year basis)
Work Schedule: 80-100% full-time
Travel: Domestic and/or international travel may be required
Language Requirement: Swedish (Proficient)
Key Responsibilities

Hold operational responsibility for the sub-project's schedule, budget, and deliverables

Plan, track, and report progress to the main project manager

Coordinate technical elements and collaborate with the main project manager

Gather, analyse, and translate business stakeholder needs for AV/IT workplace solutions

Liaise with interior design, IT, and other support teams to ensure seamless integration

Manage project risks as per established procedures

Inventory and assess existing AV and IT workplace equipment; recommend what to move, purchase, reuse, or sell

Develop technical specifications for cabling, power, and network connections for diverse spaces such as auditoriums, atriums, and large meeting areas

Offer guidance and support through the AV and IT workplace implementation phase

Prepare procurement documentation and support procurement teams with evaluation and decision-making

Lead the execution of orders, deliveries, and installations associated with AV/IT workplace solutions

Review and provide feedback on AV/IT workplace design drawings

Participate in weekly project meetings and update project status in project management tools

Compile a final sub-project report, detailing product, schedule, and budget outcomes

Oversee the handover to operations for the AV/IT Workplace sub-project
Key Requirements

Expert-level experience (10+ years) in sub-project management with a background in AV/IT workplace solutions

Proven practical expertise in office adaptations, AV, IT systems, and project coordination

Proactive, results-driven, and able to take ownership and responsibility for decisions

Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and holistic thinking capabilities
-
Excellent ability to prioritise, weigh information, and make sound judgements
-
Familiarity with organisational and program interdependencies and methodologies
-
Strong communication and pedagogical skills to explain complex concepts clearly

Experience preparing procurement documentation in accordance with Swedish law

Proficiency in Swedish
