Contract Type: 6 Months (Outside IR35)
Work Arrangement: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct global and local structural analysis of FPSO hull structures.
- Design and assess scantlings, bulkheads, living quarters, and topside module support stools.
- Produce structural calculations, analysis models, and engineering deliverables according to project schedules.
- Utilize SESAM Genie and Nauticus Hull for structural modelling and hull-related assessments.
- Ensure work complies with up-to-date industry rules, standards, and codes (such as DNV and NORSOK).
- Support structural design for FPSO hulls operating in harsh water environments.
- Contribute to fatigue assessments, including stochastic fatigue analysis when needed.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Review project specifications and provide practical, fit-for-purpose structural engineering solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience as an Offshore/Hull/Structural Engineer or Naval Architect with demonstrated technical and practical engineering skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, accurate results on schedule with minimal supervision.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SESAM Genie; prior use of Nauticus Hull is essential.
- Familiarity with the latest revisions of key industry rules, standards, and codes (including DNV and NORSOK) is required.
- Previous experience working with FPSO hulls in harsh water environments.
- Experience in stochastic fatigue analysis in line with industry standards is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with projects for major operators is considered a plus.
