Senior QA/QC Engineer - Offshore Projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, from a recognised international university.
- Master's degree and membership in a relevant professional institution are advantageous.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. Additional qualifications in quality management are desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with a strong offshore background.
- At least 5 years in a senior QA/QC role managing large-scale EPIC projects.
- Proficient in the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Experienced in manufacturing inspections and equipment/material certification processes.
- Strong background in offshore welding, construction, and both conventional and advanced NDT techniques.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with solid leadership and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance and ensure effective implementation of Quality Management Systems across offshore EPIC project scopes.
- Monitor compliance with relevant corporate standards, international codes, and project-specific quality requirements.
- Develop Project Quality Management documentation in collaboration with the wider project team.
- Act as quality focal point for audits, liaising with internal departments and external parties to schedule and execute second-party audits.
- Guide teams on ISO 9001 compliance, QMS documentation standards, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Prepare and oversee the implementation of Project Quality Plans and ensure contractor adherence throughout the project life cycle.
- Participate in pre-qualification, technical bid evaluations, and ensure quality requirements are embedded into contractor scopes and vendor deliverables.
- Review and enforce QA/QC-related components in contractor/supplier submissions and coordinate with discipline specialists for issues involving materials, corrosion, or special processes.
- Manage and resolve quality deviations, non-conformances, corrective actions, and close-out reports in alignment with project compliance standards.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary QA/QC inspection teams, ensuring timely execution of Inspection & Test Plans and maintaining quality assurance across all project stages.
