Job Title: SPS Onshore Base Representative
Location: Initially Paris (mobilisation), then rotational in Paramaribo, Suriname (28/28 rotation)
Contract Type: International Rotational Contract
Start Date: 1 September 2025
Contract Length: 1-Year Renewable (until early 2028)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SPS Onshore Base Representative to oversee contractor operations at an onshore base supporting offshore subsea systems. This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of subsea activities during the development of a major deepwater project offshore Suriname.

This is a senior rotational role, ideal for a candidate with strong expertise in subsea production systems, offshore service support, and HSE leadership. You will act as the client’s technical and operational focal point at the contractor’s onshore facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce HSE standards and act as the safety leader at the onshore base

  • Supervise onshore service activities under the SPS contracts, including equipment receipt and testing

  • Support delivery of wellhead systems, completion equipment, and offshore construction readiness

  • Coordinate contractor activities with drilling, completions, FPSO, and installation teams

  • Oversee tooling maintenance, preservation, loadout, and readiness for offshore deployment

  • Validate service orders and review timesheets, invoices, and technical execution reports

  • Ensure inventory control, equipment traceability, and engineering support at the base

  • Liaise with project management, HSE leads, and engineering teams for seamless offshore mobilisation

  • Conduct regular reporting to package and technical leadership

  • Ensure contractor compliance with safety documentation, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and change management

  • Report anomalies and quality deviations; uphold project ethics and anti-corruption policy

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field

  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience, with 15+ years in subsea operations and offshore project delivery

  • In-depth knowledge of subsea production systems, wellhead equipment, and SPS tooling

  • Strong track record in HSE, onshore base coordination, and contractor supervision

  • Experience supporting large-scale offshore energy projects in a multicultural setting

  • Fluent English required; Dutch or French is an advantage

  • Willingness to work on a 28/28 international rotation

  • Must be authorised to work in Europe and Suriname or willing to undergo visa application
