Role Overview:

Our client is a national leader in clean energy, focused on building and operating community-scale solar projects that bring renewable power to local communities. These sites are often in rural or remote parts of the U.S., so we're looking for driven and adaptable professionals who thrive in field-based, hands-on environments.

We're seeking a hard-working and reliable Solar Construction Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of community solar installations. You'll be responsible for managing crews, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met, and working alongside subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a boots-on-the-ground role-ideal for candidates with a background in construction, solar (residential or commercial), or electrical work who are looking to build a long-term career in renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities across solar installations.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and site labor to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Report daily progress and issues to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Interpret site plans, electrical drawings, and schedules.
  • Identify and solve basic site-level challenges in real time.
  • Act as a hands-on leader and motivator for field teams.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

General construction

  • Solar installation (residential or commercial)
  • Electrical work (licensed or apprentice-level experience)
  • Proven track record of reliability and leadership in a construction environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations for project durations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to read construction documents is a plus (training available if not).
