Job Title: Software Responsible – Switches

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (On-Site, 0% Remote)

Contract Type: Fixed-term assignment

Assignment Period: 23 February 2026 – 21 August 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Software Responsible within a dynamic development team focusing on Switches for interior systems.

  • Lead software development conducted by both external suppliers and in-house development teams.

  • Break down stakeholder requirements into component-specific requirements, define system signals and diagnostics, and ensure robust documentation.

  • Compile software requirements specifications for both internal use and suppliers.

  • Collaborate closely with project leaders, software testers, system safety, cybersecurity, core computing teams, and suppliers.

  • Ensure adherence to timelines and specifications across multiple interfaces, both internal and external.

  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of engineering best practices within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

  • More than 5 years of experience in the automotive sector.

  • Documented leadership skills in project environments.

  • Proven experience guiding both full-service suppliers and in-house software teams.

  • Strong background in software requirement management, including requirements breakdown and creation (PC – product capabilities, component requirements).

  • Skilled in creating and managing signals: LIN, CAN, Ethernet.

  • Hands-on experience designing and specifying diagnostics (including robust DTCs).

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Car Weaver and Electra.

  • Experience in Functional & System Safety (QM/ASIL) and Cyber security (TARA).

  • Practical knowledge of in-house software ASPICE/SUMS/SS/CS compliance.

  • Previous responsibilities in software architecture, including SW allocation and interface design.

  • Familiarity with ASPICE & SUMS evaluation.

  • Experience in hardware development, software testing, quality assurance, haptics, and switch development is considered advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Valid driving license Category B.

  • Proficient English language skills required.
