Overview
A well-established landscape contractor in Nassau County is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead on-site operations for residential and commercial projects. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys team leadership, solving field challenges, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations for landscape installation and maintenance work.

Supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, and manage equipment usage.

Ensure all work meets high quality standards and meets client expectations.

Read and interpret site plans, layouts, and project specifications.

Monitor project progress, resolve on-site issues, and provide updates to project managers.

Enforce safety procedures and maintain an organized, hazard-free jobsite.

Oversee materials, deliveries, and logistics.

Conduct routine site inspections and address field-related challenges promptly.

Interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and vendors while on site.
Experience & Requirements

3+ years of experience in landscaping, construction, or site supervision.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate field crews.

Solid understanding of landscape installation, hardscape work, and site grading.

Ability to read landscape and construction plans and handle multiple tasks at once.

Knowledge of site safety standards and best practices.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Nassau County job sites.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing hands-on tasks when necessary.
