Job Title: Site Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary
The Site Electrical Supervisor will manage and supervise all electrical activities on-site related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. The role ensures all electrical installations, testing, and commissioning are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Installation

Supervise electrical installations including generators, transformers, switchgear (LV/MV/HV), power cables, busbars, earthing, and lightning protection systems.

Oversee protection relays and control panels.

Ensure compliance with electrical drawings, standards, and specifications.
2. Testing & Commissioning

Oversee testing procedures: insulation resistance, transformer/switchgear testing, relay protection, loop checks, and function tests.

Support commissioning of electrical systems and ensure successful energization.
3. Project Execution & Coordination

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution.

Participate in technical meetings, inspections, and site walkdowns.

Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure on-site compliance with HSE policies and electrical best practices.

Promote LOTO (Lockout-Tagout), arc flash safety, and permit-to-work systems.

Collaborate with QA/QC for quality assurance and compliance.
5. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, as-built documentation, and electrical test reports.

Maintain records of electrical drawings, change notices, and NCRs.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in power plant projects (diesel, gas turbine, or combined-cycle).

Preferred Certifications: OSHA, PMP, SEC Saudi Engineering Council registration.
Technical Skills
-
Strong knowledge of power system protection and control, electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts.

Familiarity with IEC standards, NFPA 70E, and local Saudi electrical codes.

Optional: ETAP or similar power system software, SCADA/PLC interface basics, Megger/Hi-Pot/primary-secondary injection testing.
