Kintec is currently partnered with a global materials technology and recycling group, with a mission to reduce harmful emissions, power the cars of the future, and give new life to used metals. They are recruiting a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based in Hoboken, Belgium.

Department Description and Responsibilities:

  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for the organization.

  • Collaborate with site P&O teams to understand staffing needs.

  • Source, recruit, and onboard skilled workers.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Create and align job postings according to Umicore standards.

  • Conduct initial screenings and behavioural interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts to create a talent pipeline.

  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.

Technical Profile Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience within recruitment in the chemical industry.

  • Experience working with ATS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.

  • Experience recruiting managerial, white-collar, and blue-collar profiles.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Solid understanding of labour laws and regulations related to hiring (including work council rights).

  • Knowledge of SHL tests and questionnaires is a plus (OPQ, MQ, G+).

  • Experience in sourcing.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong listening and interviewing skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Methodology / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Language Proficiencies:

  • Fluent speaking and writing in English.

  • Fluent speaking and writing in German.

Contract Details:

  • Start: ASAP

  • Mission till EOY 2026

  • Minimum 2 days/week onsite presence; during onboarding 100% onsite presence

  • Mission is for 3 days/week (+/- 22.5 hrs/week)

  • During July & August, the mission is for only 1 day/week

Location Details:

  • Hanau, Germany

  • During onboarding period: 100% onsite presence

  • After onboarding: 1 day of remote work possible, following the client’s guidelines
