Overview:
We are hiring a Senior Subsea Pipeline Marine Inspector for an exciting offshore pipeline repair project involving concrete weight coating (CWC) damage restoration. You'll be the QA/QC lead offshore – ensuring repair work on subsea pipelines and sleepers is executed to spec, safety standards, and certification requirements.

This is a technically complex role suited for someone experienced in subsea inspection, particularly those certified as CSWIP 3.4UC Underwater Inspection Controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as offshore QA/QC focal point, liaising with EPCI contractors and sub-contractors

  • Monitor repair works on subsea concrete weight coatings and concrete sleepers

  • Participate in inspection, testing, and verification of fabrication and installation activities

  • Support and lead underwater inspection (UWI) campaigns during four shutdown phases (PL-49, PL-75, PL-610, PL-811)

  • Review contractor deliverables, ensure compliance with specifications and procedures

  • Provide inspection oversight during site integration tests (SIT) for clamps, PHFs, and repair tools

  • Generate inspection records, reports, and lessons learned from offshore campaigns

  • Collaborate with specialist contractors (e.g. NDT, grouting, bolt torquing) and third-party inspection bodies

  • Ensure HSE requirements are upheld throughout offshore and onshore activities

  • Interpret ROV video, diver commentary, and inspection data into formal documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)

  • CSWIP 3.4UC certification (Underwater Inspection Controller) – mandatory

  • Valid offshore certification (e.g. BOSIET, FOET) and offshore medical

  • Minimum 6 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, with significant offshore exposure

  • Proven track record in subsea pipeline repairs, inspection, NDT, and construction

  • Understanding of subsea pipeline integrity, corrosion modes, and protective systems

  • Experience with underwater inspections via ROV or divers, report analysis, and defect logging

  • Familiarity with DNV and ASME standards, pipeline coatings (FBE, CTE, CWC)

  • Skilled in inspection planning, audit participation, and non-conformance management

  • Strong IT, reporting, and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
