Job Title: Senior Subsea Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Office-based)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to provide technical and practical engineering support for subsea production systems, risers, and pipeline infrastructure. The role involves maintaining asset integrity, planning and executing inspection, maintenance, and repair campaigns, and managing subsea equipment and contractor activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to maintain integrity and operability of subsea production systems, risers, and pipelines
- Assist in developing and managing long-term integrity management plans and risk-based inspection strategies
- Develop work scopes, specifications, and evaluation criteria for procurement and service contracts
- Plan and execute subsea IMR (Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair) campaigns
- Prepare method statements and workpacks for offshore intervention campaigns
- Manage IMR vessels, ROVs, diving operations, subsea maintenance contracts, and equipment/tooling availability
- Maintain databases of inspection reports, anomalies, and dashboards
- Represent the company onsite (onshore/offshore) during routine and non-routine subsea operations
- Ensure HSE and technical procedures are adhered to throughout all operations
- Oversee engineering work from specialist contractors and review analyses of hardware failures
- Support the update of asset integrity procedures and intervention strategies
Requirements:
- Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience in upstream oil & gas project management
- Experience with shallow or deepwater operations is an advantage
- Experience as an operating company site representative or working with EPCIC contractors
- Knowledge of current subsea technologies and subsea IMR/intervention work
- Awareness of subsea production systems, interfaces, and key API RP17 standards
- Experience conducting root cause analyses and investigations for system/equipment failures
- Ability to travel to remote locations on short notice to manage operational issues
- Fit to work offshore
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multinational environment
